Vagus Nerve Treatment
The Vagus Nerve is responsible for a wide range of bodily functions. From digestion, heart rate and blood pressure, breathing, the immune system, taste / swallowing, mood and stress, liver and function and pain responses. It contributes in many way for maintaining homeostasis and our sense of well being.
By stimulating th vagus nerve we can help to play a key role in pain reduction for those that suffer from chronic pain and anxiety.
While there are varied treatments for the vagus nerve, we use tuning forks and simple vibration techniques to stimulate the vagus nerve for training the brain out of pain responses and behaviors. This along with instructions for clients to do at home on their own, help to maintain the benefits from an offie visit.
