What to expect
New clients must fill out a Client Intake Form before coming to their first appointment.
What to expect during your first session:
Our initial session will include a general questionnaire (please fill out and submit online prior to coming to save time under "Client Intake Form" to save time).
Upon arrival, your stretch therapist will review your 1st Time Client Intake Form* with you and will talk to you about your mobility, if you have any injuries or if you are experiencing any pain and what you would like to focus on during your stretch. Functional movement assessments and basic measurements will be taken as indicated.
This is a time for you to ask questions and for us to get familiar with each other. We will decide together based on findings for the best approach for regular follow up care if needed.
Your session will take place on a table that is designed for manual therapy and bodywork, and it is very comfortable and can be lowered and raised for your convenience.
For Fascial Stretching: Please wear loose comfortable clothes that will allow you to move freely - workout shorts are best for lower body work, tanks or sport bras for upper body work. Pull hair out of the way if it is long.
For Myoskeletal Alignment: Men may dress down to athletic shorts; Women - dress down to sports bra and sport shorts. If we need to expose more skin, proper draping will be applied. The more skin exposed the better for most MAT work, however your modesty, comfort and privacy is of the utmost importance.
Massage/bodywork: Dress down to your comfort level. Draping is required for all massage & bodywork and only the body part being worked on will be exposed.
ALL SERVICES ARE STRICTLY PROFESSIONAL.
